Glacier NP weed blitz – West Glacier

Thursday, July 9 – 10 am to 3 pm

Join fellow citizens to remove invasive plants from priority sites in Glacier National Park. Park biologist Dawn LaFleur will train participants how to identify the targeted weed species and effective hand-pulling techniques. The morning will focus on learning about invasive plant ecology, issues and identification. We’ll head into the field during the afternoon.

Bring muscles, water and gloves. The Glacier National Park Conservancy will provide lunch. Participants must RSVP before July 7 by emailing glac_citizen_science@nps.gov  or calling 406-888-7986.
