Scholarships program

The Montana Native Plant Society awards scholarships to students for educational and professional development. Applicants must be embarking on a Board-approved program to gain knowledge about or awareness of Montana’s native plants and plant communities.

Academic scholarships

  • For students enrolled in an academic program in Montana
  • Maximum award $1000
  • Deadline to apply: April 1, 2026

Professional Development scholarships

  • For people participating in a Board-approved opportunity for professional development
  • Maximum award is $500
  • MOST RECENT APPLICATION DEADLINE was Oct 15, 2025
