LeBeau RNA & Lichens
Dr. Toby Spribille will lead a walk through this geologically complex area “research natural area” featuring steep cliffs, humid grand-fir forests and Pacific-yew-filled ravines. The walk will include an introduction to basic concepts of lichen identification and biology, and highlight some of the rare and unusual species of the Lebeau RNA.
A 10x-hand-lens is highly recommended. Limit 15 people.
