House of Sky Trail – Missoula

Join Annie Garde for a morning hike on the House of Sky trail above Pattee Canyon. We hope to see abundant wildflowers and breathtaking views of the Bitterroot Range and Miller Creek Valley. Plan to meet at the top of Pattee Canyon, on the trailhead for the Sam Braxton trail, on the south side of the road. From there, we’ll plan on carpooling to the House of Sky Trailhead in Deer Creek. The trail is steep in areas, but mostly moderate rolling hills along the ridge. Bring water and a lunch. The trail is 4.6 miles and connects to other trails.
