Join Jeff Copeland and Matt Lavin in exploring the native plants on state lands in northern Sweet Grass County. During an easy meander of 1-to-2 miles, we should see many plant species of the northern grasslands and sagebrush steppe. Jeff and Matt will discuss plant diversity of this area as it relates to the modern plant composition and perhaps its original (historical) composition. It’s likely some people who attend will have good knowledge of birds, and of the plant and animal fossils of the area. Limit 12 people.
