Bridger Bowl Blooms – Bozeman
Bridger Bowl Blooms – Bozeman
Saturday, June 20 – 8:30 am
A moderate 4-mile hike meanders through the open runs of Bridger Bowl Ski Area, and zigzags up the rocky slopes below the ridge. Habitats include wet meadows, forested stands, and alpine scree, which yield everything from Solomon’s plume and coralroots, to monument plant and pretty Jacob’s ladder. Enjoy breathtaking views from the ridge and keep an eye out for mountain goats, marmots and moose.
The trail can be steep and rocky in places, but we won’t be in any hurry! Bring good hiking shoes, a sack lunch, and plenty of water. We’ll meet at the small parking area below Deer Park Chalet on Jeep Trail at 8:30 am.
RSVP to Allison Rognlie at allison.rognlie@gmail.com. Contact Allison if you need directions to the parking lot or want to carpool.
