Conservation conferences

Starting in 2004, every other year the Montana Native Plant Society has hosted a two-day plant conservation conference.  These conferences address emerging issues in applied botany for managers, scientists, students and plant enthusiasts.  The second day of each conference is spent updating the information about threats to Montana’s plant Species of Concern (see the Threats page).

The 2026 conference was held in April in Missoula.
