DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, April 25\, north of Troy – Yaak River & Falls walk\nThe hike starts on terraces overlooking Yaak Falls with beds of glacier lilies and other early bloomers. Then an easy 1-to-2-mile round-trip walk downstream along the Yaak River on the Dipper Trail #704. The trail has little elevation change\, but an uneven\, rocky tread. We’ll see some big trees\, old mine shafts\, and maybe calypso orchids and Geyer’s biscuitroot. \nContact Betty Kuropat at blueirismt@gmail.com for time & where to meet up.
